Upcoming report on Youth Entrepreneurship
The Arctic Business Index project is preparing a new report examining youth entrepreneurship in the Nordic Arctic.
The study analyzes more than 5,600 youth-founded companies across Northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland and places entrepreneurship within a broader regional development framework built around the three Ds: Demography, Diversification, and Digitalization.
The report explores several important questions:
- How to address youth outmigration and demographic shifts?
- To what extent do young entrepreneurs contribute to economic diversification?
- How concentrated is value creation among youth-led firms?
- Can digital entrepreneurship and AI help young people build globally oriented businesses while remaining in Arctic communities?
